   My love of color and the way it can evoke an emotion is what inspires me as an artist. I believe art should be uplifting and have a pleasing visual effect, therefore the art one chooses for their interior space should reflect that. For me, painting keeps me in the present. This has enabled me to become very aware of my surroundings. Aware of the natural beauty that we see every day. From the moment my brush hits the canvas I let the paint take command. This process leads me to work in a variety of mediums creating multiple layers that capture the perfect balance between color, texture and composition.
